A published maximum temperature is not an allowable design temperature for a loaded tank, duct or platform. Include normal and upset temperatures, liquid head, pressure\/vacuum, unsupported span and service life in the design basis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do not describe sheet work surfaces or covers as platforms unless the complete assembly is engineered for personnel loads and applicable safety requirements.
