- Gate and Mold Design: Sprue and gate systems should be short and wide; avoid dead corners. Molds require efficient cooling and chrome-plated surfaces to ensure surface quality.
- Special Equipment Required: Due to its corrosive and poor flow characteristics, specialized molding equipment and tools are advised. Additives must be selected based on specific product requirements.
- Narrow Processing Window: Easily decomposes above 200°C, especially when in contact with metals like steel and copper, releasing irritating and corrosive gases.
