Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) sheets are used for wear liners, guides and machined sliding parts. When comparing manufacturers, verify the legal company, the sheet-production site and any separate machining site. A supplier's province alone does not establish the grade or quality of the material.
Examples of Supplier Locations in China
China has suppliers and processors of UHMW-PE sheets in several provinces. The examples below identify publicly listed company locations, not a ranking or a complete directory.
1. Shandong Province
Shandong Ningjin Xinxing Chemical Co., Ltd. lists a location in Ningjin County, Dezhou City, Shandong, and includes UHMWPE sheets in its product range. Check the proposed grade, producing site and order documents with the supplier rather than relying on the region's reputation.
2. Henan Province
In Anyang's Tangyin County, Henan, a supplier lists UHMW-PE sheets and a manufacturing address.
One example is:
- Henan Okay Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. lists its address in Yigou Town, Tangyin County, Henan, and identifies UHMWPE sheets and HDPE sheets in its product range.
3. Jiangsu Province
Röchling lists engineering-plastics locations in Kunshan and Suzhou, Jiangsu. Confirm which site makes the sheet, which handles machining and which company issues the quotation; a local sales or machining address does not by itself establish the origin of a UHMW-PE sheet.
UHMW-PE Processing Locations Outside China
UHMW-PE processing also takes place outside China. Mitsubishi Chemical Group lists UHMW polyethylene processing facilities in the United States, Germany, Japan and South Africa. Compare the offered grade, supply scope, documents and delivered cost on the same basis; a country name alone does not prove a price or quality advantage.
Industrial Applications of UHMW-PE Sheets
At our factory in Cangzhou, Hebei, we review inquiries for UHMW-PE sheets and drawing-based parts against the requested grade, geometry and service conditions. The applications below are starting points for a specification, not proof that every grade is suitable.
● Machinery and Equipment Components
- Wear liners and guide rails: Replaceable contact surfaces for hoppers, conveyors and other equipment. Define the handled or mating material, contact geometry, load and wear problem before choosing the grade.
- Gears and bushings: Check load, speed, fit and operating temperature before selecting a material for a moving part. Any food-contact requirement needs evidence for the offered grade and intended use.
- Slide pads and sliders: Specify the contact area, mating surface, movement, clearance and acceptable deformation; the finished assembly determines friction and noise in service.
● Chemical and Corrosive Environments
- Liners and process-equipment wear parts: Check the chemical or mixture, concentration, contact time and temperature against the offered grade. Chemical resistance alone does not approve a tank design.
- Sludge scrapers and filter boards: Match the grade, geometry and fixing method to the solids, chemicals and operating conditions; define the wear and inspection criteria for the part.
● Mining and Metallurgy
- Truck bed liners: State the handled material, temperature, moisture, particle size and impact conditions. Material release and liner life depend on the grade and installation; do not assume suitability for hot slag.
- Chute and hopper liners: Provide the flow path, support, fasteners and impact points so the sheet grade and fabrication can be reviewed for the wear location.

- Agreed dimensions, tolerances and inspection records
- Full-sheet, cut-panel or machined-part supply scope
For UHMW-PE materials, ask us to confirm the grade and any required material-identification evidence before ordering. HDPE and UHMW-PE are both types of polyethylene, but they should not be substituted for one another without an approved specification change.
