We supply thin polypropylene (PP) sheet in black and other colors, as cut sheets or rollstock for further processing. Typical uses include folders, stationery, packaging components and printed blanks. The right grade, surface and supply format depend on how the material will be cut, printed, folded or formed.
The thicknesses listed for this range are 0.3, 0.5, 0.6, 0.8 and 1.0 mm. These are nominal dimensions, not a stated tolerance. We confirm the available grade, color, finish and sheet or roll format for the requested thickness before quoting.
Black and colored sheets can serve different visual and processing requirements. For color matching, send a reference sample or an agreed color specification. For a textured or embossed finish, identify the required side and texture; color and surface approval should be based on an agreed sample rather than a screen image.

Converting thin PP sheet
- Cutting and folding: Specify the blank shape, fold lines and finishing process. Die cutting, creasing and repeated folding need a grade and thickness suited to the design, with a trial where the result is critical.
- Printing: Tell us the printing process, ink system and printed side. Ink adhesion depends on the substrate surface and treatment as well as the ink; approve a printing trial before relying on production adhesion.
- Thermoforming: Select a grade for the forming process and part geometry. Tooling, draw depth, heating and wall-thickness distribution matter; flexibility alone does not show that any PP sheet will form successfully.
- Service conditions: Specify chemical contact, temperature and impact or bending duty. These properties vary with the grade, formulation and thickness; a general PP description is not a finished-part performance rating.
- Recycling: PP can be recycled where a suitable collection and processing route exists. Colorants, printing, adhesives and the finished construction can affect that route. Confirm the recycling route for the finished product in its destination market.
For heated processing, follow the safety data and processing guidance for the actual grade and provide suitable fume control. Overheating or burning PP can produce harmful fumes, so control processing temperature and ventilation for the material being used.
For rollstock, provide the required width, core inside diameter, maximum roll outside diameter and weight or length limit. Include winding direction, the treated or printed side and any requirements for joins. We check these against the supply format and your feeding equipment.
For cut sheets, specify width, length, quantity and any requirement for squareness or flatness. If sheets will be printed or fed automatically, tell us how they will be stored and processed so that packing and handling requirements can be reviewed.
Specifying a bulk order
- Material and dimensions: State the nominal thickness, required tolerance, grade if specified, color, surface and sheet size or roll specification. Identify any application-specific documentation needed.
- Acceptance: Agree the sample, dimensional checks and surface criteria before production. If you need batch records or a test report, name the required document and test method so availability can be confirmed.
- Packing: Specify protection against surface marks, sheet or roll handling, pallet dimensions and labeling. Packing and dispatch arrangements are confirmed for the order and destination.
